TRAINING AND MOBILITY FOR EDUCATORS

Teachers and education staff are the cornerstone of quality learning. Their professional development is key to improving schools and to inspiring new generations of students. For this reason, we design and manage Erasmus+ mobility programmes specifically aimed at educators, offering opportunities to learn, share, and grow in an international context.

Our training and mobility activities for teachers include job shadowing, study visits, and professional courses. Each format has its own characteristics, but they all share the same goal: to empower educators, foster innovation, and create meaningful international connections.

JOB SHADOWING

Job shadowing allows teachers and education staff to observe and experience daily life in another educational institution. Through our network of schools and vocational training centres in Valencia, we arrange placements where visiting staff can follow the work of their local counterparts.

During a job shadowing period, participants may attend classes, observe teaching methodologies, sit in on meetings, and interact with students. This first-hand experience gives them valuable insights into classroom management, curriculum design, use of technology, and student engagement strategies.

The benefit of job shadowing goes beyond observation. It creates a genuine space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange of best practices. Teachers discover alternative approaches, compare them with their own, and bring home new ideas to implement in their institutions. At the same time, they build lasting professional relationships that can lead to future collaborations and joint projects.

PROFESSIONAL COURSES

For educators who wish to focus on specific skills and knowledge, we also offer professional courses led by expert trainers. These courses are interactive, practical, and directly relevant to the challenges of modern education.

Topics include:

  • Innovative and student-centred teaching methodologies.

  • Digital tools and the integration of technology in the classroom.

  • Inclusive practices and managing diversity.

  • Leadership, communication, and teamwork.

  • Teacher wellbeing, stress management, and resilience.

  • Language learning and intercultural competence.

Courses are designed to be hands-on, with workshops, case studies, and group activities that allow participants to apply new strategies immediately. They also provide space for reflection, discussion, and the sharing of experiences among international colleagues.

STUDY VISITS

Learning goes beyond the classroom, which is why Hola Erasmus includes study visits in our training and mobility programs for teachers and education staff.

These short, intensive programs—typically one to two weeks—allow participants to visit schools, vocational centers, and local companies, observing practices and meeting professionals to gain practical insights. Focused on experience rather than theory, study visits help educators discover innovative methods, understand institutional collaboration, and gather ideas they can apply in their own work.

Open to all education professionals, these visits also foster international connections and a stronger European perspective. Hola Erasmus handles all the organization, ensuring participants can focus on learning, engaging, and enjoying their time in Valencia.

A COMPLETE LEARNING JOURNEY

Whether through job shadowing, study visits, or professional courses, our programmes for educators are built on the principles of quality, flexibility, and personal attention. We adapt each activity to the needs of the sending institution and participants, ensuring that every mobility is relevant and impactful.

When teachers learn, students benefit. By investing in the professional growth of educators, we contribute to stronger schools, more motivated teachers, and a more innovative European education system.

“As part of the Erasmus+ project, I had the great pleasure of collaborating with a partner, Hola Erasmus, represented by Clara and based in Valencia (Spain). I highly recommend this organization to anyone wishing to take part in an international exchange. Clara, the coordinator, was both welcoming and very professional. Her support was invaluable, both in preparing the stay—internship placements, host families, and managing the small concerns that could arise on site. Hola Erasmus truly cares about the success and well-being of the students. Once again, I wholeheartedly recommend this partner “Hola Erasmus” and thank Clara for her kindness and professionalism”.
