Finding the right place to stay is one of the most important parts of any mobility experience. At Hola Erasmus, we know that accommodation is not just about having a roof over your head, but about feeling safe, comfortable, and supported during your stay abroad.
We currently offer two main types of accommodation: host families and shared apartments. Both options have been designed to provide participants with the best possible balance between comfort, cultural immersion, and independence.
HOST FAMILIES: LIVING LIKE A LOCAL
Staying with a host family is one of the best ways to experience Valencia firsthand. Our carefully selected families are welcoming, reliable, and passionate about cultural exchange, with years of experience hosting international students.
Living with a Spanish family allows participants to immerse themselves in daily life, from enjoying traditional meals like paella to practicing the language naturally. Families provide a safe, supportive environment in well-connected areas, offering a private or shared room, meals, and all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay.
SHARED APARTMENTS: INDEPENDENCE AND COMMUNITY
For those seeking more independence, we offer fully furnished shared apartments in safe, convenient neighborhoods across Valencia. This option lets participants live like local students or young professionals, managing their own schedules while enjoying the company of others.
Shared apartments usually host several Erasmus+ participants, creating a dynamic, multicultural environment. Students share common areas like the kitchen and living room, fostering teamwork and social skills, while still having their own private or shared bedroom for personal space.
SUPPORT AND SUPERVISION
Whether participants choose to stay with a host family or in a shared apartment, Hola Erasmus provides ongoing support to guarantee quality and safety. If any concerns arise, we are available at all times to provide assistance and find solutions quickly.
Before participants arrive, we share all the key details about their housing, neighbourhood, and transport. When they get to Valencia, we take them to their accommodation and ensure everything’s ready. Our goal is to make their arrival smooth, so they can focus on what truly matters — learning, growing, and enjoying their Erasmus+ experience.
