GUIDED CITY TOUR

To help participants get to know their new home, we organise guided tours through Valencia’s historic centre and modern landmarks. Walking through the old town, visiting the cathedral, the Central Market, or the Serranos Towers, and learning about the stories behind the city gives them the chance to understand its identity.

CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCIES AND OCEANOGRAFIC

Participants receive tickets to visit the City of Arts and Sciences in more depth. This complex, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is a true symbol of the city. Inside, the Oceanogràfic—Europe’s largest aquarium—provides a fascinating journey through the marine ecosystems of the world, from the Arctic to tropical seas. The Hemisfèric and the interactive Science Museum complete the experience, making it both entertaining and educational.

ALBUFERA NATURAL PARK

Just a few kilometers south of Valencia lies the Albufera Natural Park, a protected wetland and one of the largest freshwater lagoons in Spain. Known for its rich biodiversity, it’s home to over 300 bird species and surrounded by vast rice fields that supply the essential ingredient for Valencia’s famous paella.

During the visit, participants enjoy a peaceful boat trip across the lagoon, learning about its unique ecosystem and traditional fishing practices. The experience ends with a delicious paella lunch in a local restaurant by the water—an authentic taste of Valencia and a perfect way to relax and connect with nature.

PAELLA COOKING WORKSHOP

For those who want to learn by doing, we organise cooking classes in the Valencian huerta. Guided by local chefs, participants prepare paella step by step, using fresh ingredients from the orchard. The activity ends with everyone sharing the meal they have cooked, turning the workshop into a celebration of teamwork, gastronomy, and culture.
